Work Programme
The Advisory Committee on Assisted Reproductive Technology (ACART) has structured its work programme to align it with the requirements of the
Human Assisted Reproductive Technology (HART) Act 2004
.
ACART’s active workstreams are:
Advice to the Minister of Health on human reproductive research
(section 37 of the HART Act)
Advice to the Minister on assisted reproductive procedures
(section 38)
Advice to the Minister on new assisted reproductive procedures
(section 6)
Establishment of monitoring regimes
(sections 35 (2), 30 and 42 (3) (b))

Guidelines and advice to ECART on issues other than those set out above (section 35(1)(a))
