Guidelines on the Use, Storage and Disposal of Sperm from a Deceased Man
The Minister of Health has approved a set of guidelines on the use, storage and disposal of sperm from a deceased man taking into account a range of cultural, ethical and legal issues. These issues are outlined in the attached guidelines.
When consent has not been and cannot be obtained or when there is a request for a variation to the requirements set out in the guidelines, an application for ethical review must be submitted to ECART.
